Security for a school in the Ugandan capital Kampala harassed and detained a journalist for the Daily Monitor who was covering the school ‘s reopening, including reports that the school had opened earlier than allowed. The journalist attempted to talk to students and parents. The security official detained the journalist and took him to a local police station, where the journalist was forced to delete photos and notes.
