BBC News and Current Affairs Editor James Stephenson weighs on the controversy surrounding fake news on the Internet. Stephenson argues that the web hosts a wide spectrum of news organisations: ranging from those that bring the core principles of traditional journalism to the digital realm to “news” sites that deliberatley publish false content.
Stephenson joined the IPI World Congress 2017 in Hamburg last May as one of the keynote speakers in the Town Hall kick-off session.
