Two men on a motorcycle gunned down journalist Mauricio Campos Rosa in Santa Luzia in Minas Gerais state on Aug. 17, 2016. Campos, who investigated corruption and was the owner of the newspaper O Grito, was reportedly shot five times while leaving the home of a friend. The motive for the shooting remains unclear.
