Chandan Tiwary, India

Chandan Tiwary, 36, a reporter of the Hindi language daily, Aaj, was abducted and killed by unidentified persons in Chatra district of Jharkhand state in India on October 29. Tiwary had earlier received a threat to his life and informed the local police station about it in April earlier this year.
