Ahmed Hajr Oglo, Iraq

Iraqi journalist Ahmed Hajr Oglo died on Oct. 21, 2016 while covering clashes between security forces and Islamic State group militants in Kirkuk that erupted when dozens of militants launched a raid on the city. Oglo was covering the clashes when a sniper’s bullet pierced his chest, killing him.
