Abdul Manan Arghand, Afghanistan

Abdul Manan Arghand, a reporter for Kabul TV was shot dead by two unidentified gunmen riding a motorbike in Kandahar, southern Afghanistan on April 25, 2018. Police said that it was investigating the case. Arghand, according to his colleagues, had received death threats.

On April 16, 2019, a court in Kabul found two suspects guilty of committing the murder and gave them death sentence .
