On 13 March, shortly before 3 p.m., a trainee reporter working for DNN (Dresdner Neueste Nachrichten) was intimidated by a demonstrator during a “Querdenker” demonstration in Dresden, where the atmosphere was reportedly “heated”. Felix Franke was filming the demonstrations on his phone when a demonstrator approached him and tried to knock his mobile phone out of his hand, hitting Franke’s hand. He was forced to stop the recording. Two police officers on horses were close by but did not intervene. The journalist was not injured and did not report the incident to the police.
