Verbal, online or physical attack: Verbal attack or intimidation by authorities
At the end of a press conference, Honduras’s head of epidemiological surveillance, Karla Pavón, said of journalist Heidy Mondragón: “This shit journalist, asking me where the money is”. The insult was made off-camera, but two cameramen were there to witness it. According to Mondragón, Pavón was angry about questions regarding money dedicated to fighting the pandemic.
