The body of Afghan journalist Noor Ahmad Noori was found in a bag in a commercial area of Lashkar Gah, Afghanistan on Jan. 23. The body exhibited signs of torture including stab and burn wounds. Noori had gone missing earlier that morning, according to reports, but no groups have taken responsibility for the attack. Noori worked for local radio station Bost and was a former translator for the New York Times.
