Ali Moustafa, 29-year-old Canadian who was reportedly working as a freelance photographer in Syria, was killed March 9 in a bomb blast in a rebel-held section of Aleppo. CBC, citing the Associate Press and Canadian Press news agencies, reported that the Toronto-bord Moustafa was among seven people killed in an aerial bombing in the northern Syrian city. The report said that family members in Canada had confirmed through photographs that Moustafa’s body was among those killed.
