Reporters for opposition television network Orient News Rami Asmi and Yousef El-Dous, and cameraman Salem Khalil, were killed on Dec. 8, 2014. Orient News said the men were hit by a guided missile allegedly fired by Syrian government forces while they travelled to report on the situation on the ground after skirmishes in the city of Sheikh Maskin in Syria’s Daraa Province.
