Abdul Rahman Ismael Yassin, Syria

Abdul Rahman Ismael Yassin was killed in a bomb attack in eastern Ghouta, Syria on February 20, 2018. Working as a reporter for the pro-opposition Hammouriyeh Media Center, Yassin was covering a story on the effects of government airstrikes to the area. According to reports, he was on duty when a bomb detonated on his route. Yassin was seriously injured and later died from his wounds.
