Ravi Kanojia, a photographer for English daily The Indian Express, was electrocuted in Jhansi on May 9, 2016 while on assignment. Kanojia was at the Jhansi railway station covering the arrival of a water train in the drought-stricken region when he came into contact with a high-tension wire overhead and died on the spot.
