Yol TV Ankara correspondent Özge Uyanık was reportedly removed from the Turkish Health Ministry’s WhatsApp group for press after asking a critical question about Erdoğan to the health minister on social media. Uyanık’s question was regarding a high-level reception hosted by Erdoğan in honor of Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, which disregarded pandemic measures. Uyanık was initally rejected when asking the same question in the minister’s regular press conferences.
