Ukrainian TV journalists come under fire near Bakhmut, Donetsk region

On 5 December 2022, a camera crew of Fakty ICTV, a news program by the Ukrainian ICTV TV channel, came under fire on the outskirts of Bakhmut, in the Donetsk region of Ukraine. Journalist Kostiantyn Melnykov and cameraman Dmytro Matviienko were working with the military, filming the performance of the Ukrainian army. None of the two were wounded in the incident, however their car was seriously damaged. According to the journalists, a Russian military drone first localized them and the military company they were with. Following this, the group came under mortar fire.
