Regional news publication Poltava Wave received a letter from the Russian state media regulator, Roskomnadzor, demanding that it take down an article, threatening that if it was not removed from the website then access to the news platform would be blocked within Russia. The article in question created by the Poltava Wave contained detailed instructions for the creation of Molotov cocktails. The editors of the outlet refused the demands of Roskomnadzor. From the beginning of July onwards, the number of such demands being received by Ukrainian outlets has notably increased, according to the IMI, a national monitoring organisation.
