Media outlets Bumaga, TJournal and Meduza were added to the register of blocked websites for the second time on the order of the Russian state prosecutor. The media websites in question were already blocked: Meduza on March 4, Bumaga on March 12, and TJournal on March 14. The reason for adding them to the register for the second time was not communicated by Roskomnadzor, the internet and communication regulator which enforced the order. Media reported that the previous takedown orders were linked to the media outlets’ coverage of the war in Ukraine.
