On 28 April 2023, the website of Suspilne Novyny, the news service of Ukraine’s public broadcaster Suspilne, was targeted in a cyber attack, the media outlet wrote on its Telegram channel. The website had slowed down as a result of the attack, the media outlet said, but was soon returned to normal operations. Suspilne Novyny informed its readers that news remained accessible on the outlet’s social media accounts: on Facebook, Telegram, Viber, Instagram and Youtube. Ukrainian public radio and regional newsrooms of Suspilne also continued functioning, online and offline, Suspilne wrote.
