On 16 March 2022, Russian forces shelled a TV tower in Vinnytsia, in Central Ukraine. The tower complex was damaged in the attack, due to which TV and radio signal temporarily disappeared in the region.
In October, Ukrainian public broadcaster Suspilne asked the European Court of Human Rights to investigate nine attacks on TV towers by Russian forces in Ukraine, as well as two cases of jamming radio and TV signal, and one hacker attack on Ukraine’s public television archives.
