Russian drone damages media infrastructure in Zaporizhia

On 13 May 2026, a Russian drone attacked the territory of the Zaporizhia branch of Ukraine’s public broadcaster Suspilne in the city of Zaporizhia, according to Inform.zp.ua.

At the time of the strike, journalists and other employees of the branch were in a shelter. No deaths or injuries were reported.

The attack left debris on the territory of the branch and damaged nearby buildings. Windows were blown out in buildings located close to the Suspilne Zaporizhia premises.

The strike also damaged the Zaporizhia television tower, causing television broadcasting in the city to be temporarily unavailable.
