On 29 March 2026, the editorial office building of the local newspaper Mezhyvyskyi Meridian, located in the village of Mezhova in Dnipropetrovsk region, around 12 kilometers from the frontline, was destroyed as a result of a Russian guided aerial bomb (KAB) strike. Houses on nearby streets were also destroyed and damaged.
According to the newspaper, this was the third attack on its office. On 25 August 2025, a drone struck the newsroom, and in October 2025, a guided bomb hit a neighbouring building that was previously its printing facility.
The newspaper described the building as a “two-storey home” that had served generations of journalists from the region, where news, articles, and local stories had been produced since 1983.
