Radio station Europa Plus Dnipro suspends broadcasting after Russian attack

On 15 April 2026, the radio station Europa Plus Dnipro temporarily suspended broadcasting after a Russian overnight attack hit the central part of Dnipro, according to the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU).

The strike hit a building of the Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, where the radio station rents premises. Following the attack, a fire broke out in the building, the premises were heavily filled with smoke, and electricity supply was cut off.

Yuliia Lavrynets, director of Europa Plus Dnipro, said that the team did not yet have access to the office and could not assess the extent of the damage. According to preliminary information, the strike hit another part of the building, raising hopes that the radio station’s equipment had not been damaged.
