Verbal, online or physical attack: Physical attack by authorities
David Musisi Karyankolo, a journalist working with Bukedde Television in Mukono district in Uganda was assaulted inside his house by some police officers for violating the restrictions on movement imposed by the government. He was admitted to the local hospital in a seriuous condition. Police have arrested one of their officers for ordering the attack on the journalist.
