Arrest/detention/charges: Arrest/detention at protest/demonstration
Photographer Elena Lukyanova from Novaya Gazeta was arrested in St. Petersburg while she was covering an anti-war demonstration. She was released later in the evening. Lukyanova was easily identifiable as a journalist as was wearing a press vest and carried her press card and confirmation of her editorial assignment.
