Journalists were manhandled and prevented by the presidential guards from covering the inauguration of a COVID-19 isloation facility by President Hage Geingob at Windhoek Central Hospital. The president’s office had invited journalists to cover the event. However, when journalists reached there, the presidential guards prevented them from entering the hospital and manhandled Charmaine Ngatjiheue and Jemima Beukes from The Namibian and Namibian Sun respectively.
