Unknown individuals hacked into the YouTube channel of Ukrainian outlet Prestupnosti.NET and deleted it. Following this, the personal Facebook page of the organization’s editor-in-chief, Anatoly Chubachenko, was also accessed and deleted. Chubachenko stated that both the email linked to his Facebook account, which was deleted as well, and the YouTube channel had two-factor authentication systems in place. He noted that prior to deletion both the YouTube channel and the Facebook page were linked to Russian email addresses by the attackers and said he suspected Russian special services or hackers were behind the attack.

UPDATE: The websites of the Mykolaiv-based online publications Prestupnosti.NET and NikLife were subjected to a large-scale DDoS attack. The editor-in-chief of the outlet, Anatolyi Chubachenko stated that the site administrators were able to largely repel the attack. Chubachenko connected the attack to an earlier incident, where the YouTube and Facebook pages of Prestupnosti.NET were deleted under suspicious circumstances. The journalist claimed that both of the incidents were directly linked to the journalistic work of the outlet, which discussed the Russian invasion and its consequences.
