On 23 October 2025, the Kyiv office of online publication Gordon was damaged during a Russian strike on the city. The newspaper’s chief editor, Alesya Batsman, reported via Facebook that while no staff were present and no injuries occurred, windows were blown out and some interior damage was recorded. In a comment provided to Ukraine’s Institute of Mass Information (IMI), Batsman explained that some window frames were torn out, glass shattered, and interior elements such as plaster and wall tiles were cracked. She added that working conditions were now compromised due to the lack of windows: as a result, the office space is now cold and unfit for use.
