Verbal, online or physical attack: Physical attack by state armed forces/military
On 23 October 2025, Freedom TV correspondent Oleksandr Kolychev was wounded in a Russian drone strike in Kramatorsk, in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region. The same attack killed war correspondent Aliona Hramova (Hubanova) and cameraman Yevhen Karmazin (see separate alert). The attack took place at a service station, soon after a previous Russian drone strike in the area. Kolychev sustained shrapnel wounds and a broken leg. His life is not in danger. Freedom TV is a structure of Inomovlennya, a Ukrainian state-owned broadcaster.
