Belsat-linked Vot Tak blocked by Russian social media platform

Russian social media network VKontakte blocked access to Vot Tak, a Russian language project run by Polish media outlet Belsat. The blocking was caried out on the request of Russian authorities. The exact reason for the administrative action was not known, but media reported it was likely related to anti-war material shared on the site. The website of Vot Tak was blocked in Russia by internet and communications regulator Roskomnadzor on the order of the Prosecutor General’s Office at beginning of the invasion.
