Photographer and reporter Abdelkarim Al-Jarbani was killed on July 21, 2016 while covering fighting in northwest Yemen between pro-government forces and Houthi rebels. Al-Jarbani, 25, was reportedly embedded with pro-government forces when he was shot by a sniper. He worked for online media outlets Ma’reb Press and Yemen Al-Aan.
