Turkish journalist Gaye Coşar on Jan. 7, 2015 succumbed to injuries she suffered in a Dec. 26, 2014 traffic collision in Yerevan. Coşar was in Armenia as a fellow in the EU-funded Armenia-Turkey Normalization Process program. Her fellowship was sponsored by the Hrant Dink foundation and she was contributing as a journalist to the Civilitas Foundation. Hürriyet Daily News reported that Coşar, 40, had recently worked for Al Jazeer, and, before that, for daily Evrensel and broadcaster NTV.
