Vedat Erdemci, 27, a freelance journalist, was killed in the Turkish airstrike on the Syrian town of Ras-al-Ain on October 11. According to the Democratic Press Union of Northeast Syria, Erdemci recently worked on a documentary about the Yazidi children liberated from the captivity of the ISIS by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in al-Baghouz.
