Jamal Khashoggi, 59, a Washington Post contributor and former editor of the Al Watan and editor-in-chief of the Al-Arab channel, disappeared on October 2 after entering the Saudi Arabia consulate in Istanbul, Turkey. He is alleged to have been killed inside the consulate. Joint investigations by Turkey and Saudi Arabia are underway.
