Sohail Khan, who worked for local TV channel, K2, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Haripur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Khan was killed on his way back from the district police office after submitting an application regarding threats he had received. He had recently reported on drug peddling in the region which had led to arrest of one of the drug lords.
