Nehemie Joseph , a reporters for Radio Mega, was found dead in his car with multiple gunshot wounds on Oct 10 in Port-Au-Prince. The slain journalist had recently expressed threat to his life from politicians of the ruling party. The government said that police is investigating the murder. On January 18, 2020, Police in the Dominican Republic arrested Clairjeune Juste Chandoux on the suspicion of being the murderer along with a politician Angela Fabiola Cameau, who is believed to be the mastermind.
