IPI urges Merkel, Macron to confront Turkey on press freedom

The International Press Institute (IPI), a global network of editors, media executives and leading journalists for press freedom, has written to German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron requesting the two leaders to take a firm stance against the imprisonment, intimidation and harassment of journalists in Turkey.
