IPI joins international call for release of Turkish journalists Altan, Ilıcak

Altans and others still in jail as retrial commences on new unfounded terrorism charges

The International Press Institute (IPI) has joined 21 other human rights and freedom of expression organizations in calling on Turkish authorities to release detained Turkish journalists Ahmet Altan and Nazlı Ilıcak as well as four additional journalists, writers and media workers on trial in the same case.
