On March 15, 2022, Fox News cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski was killed when his vehicle was struck by incoming fire in Horenka, on the outskirts of Kyiv. Oleksandra ‘Sasha’ Kuvshinova, a fixer for the American news broadcaster Fox News who had supported the team for the past month, was also killed in the shooting. Their colleague, Benjamin Hall, 39, was wounded and brought to the hospital.
