Mubarak al-Abadi was killed on Aug. 5, 2016 in Yemen’s al-Jawf province while covering clashes between rebels and pro-government forces. Al-Abadi, a contributor and fixer for Yemeni and international outlets, and a correspondent for Suhail TV, reportedly was killed by a mortar shell.
