Manoel Messias Pereira, Brazil – Under Investigation

Manoel Messias Pereira, also known as Manoel Benhur, a blogger for the Sediverte.com news website, was shot six times by unidentified gunmen while riding his motorcycle in Grajaú, in the state of Maranhão. He died later in the hospital on April 9, 2016. The motive for the shooting remains unclear.
