Roskomnadzor blocked the website of the independent outlet Skat Media at the request of the general prosecutor’s office. The NGO Roskomsvoboda claimed that a hidden block of the website has been in place since April 26 using the ‘technical measures for countering threats’ system, which gives the authorities the ability to monitor online networks. In April, Skat Media stated that regardless of whatever measures the government would take against them, they would continue their work and raportage on the war in Ukraine and the corruption of the Russian government.
