Sota.Vision journalist Yegor Shatov was detained in Moscow while he was documenting an anti-war picket held on Victory Day on May 9. According to media reports, Shatov was arrested on Pushkin Square as he was conducting an interview with one of the protesters who was distributing sweets to the crowd. Although Shatov identified himself as a journalist to police, the officers refused to check his documents and took him to a waiting paddy wagon.
