Russian internet and communications regulator Roskomnadzor blocked the websites of several news outlets as part of its latest crackdown on independent media, both foreign and domestic. The blocking measures were ordered by the Prosecutor General’s Office and carried out between June 4-5. Amidst the affected websites are those of several Ukrainian publications, such as Flot 2017 and Graty. The measure also blocked mirrors of Radio Liberty projects: Idel.Realii, Krym.Realii, Sever.Realii, Kavkaz.Realii, Azatlıq Radiosı in the Tatar language, the fact-checking site Factographer.
