Russia’s state internet and media regulator Roskomnadzor blocked the websites of Ukrainian pro-government news site Gordon and the journal Correspondent. The blocking was made on the order of the Russian General Prosecutor over their reporting on the reality of the invasion of Ukraine. Roskomnadzor also issued warnings to Novaya Gazeta, MediaZona, Dozhd, Echo Moscow and others about their coverage. The media regulator and censor later also blocked access to MediaZona.Central Asia and Agentura.ru, a news site focused on the Russian secret services. Separately, access to the website of Euronews was blocked in Russia.
