RFE/RL fined another 12.8 million rubles

A court in Moscow ordered Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, a U.S. Congress-funded news organization, to pay 12.8. million rubles of fines due to its refusal to remove prohibited content about the war in Ukraine. Radio Free Liberty has been previously fined another 15 million rubles for not removing war-related material. Additionally, RFE/RL was fined 800,000 rubles in April for refusing to remove “forbidden information” on the war in Ukraine.
