The news website of US-funded media outlet Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty was blocked within Russia over its coverage of the war in Ukraine. The blocking by Roskomnadzor follow a request from prosecutors. The blocking was one of the factors in forcing the RFE/RL to suspend operations within Russia.
