Russian internet and communications regulator Roskomnadzor blocked the blog of Dimitry Kolezev, the chief editor of the publication ‘Republic’ and the publisher of ‘It’s My City’. The blog was taken down on the order of the Prosecutor General’s Office on 05 June 2022. The website was restricted the following day. No justification was given. Republic and It’s My City were taken down after reporting on the war in Ukraine during the first weeks of the full-scale invasion in February 2022.
