Censorship and regulation: Publication ban, take-down order or forced deletion, fine, administrative action
Simonovsk district court of Moscow fined Novaya Gazeta 350,000 rubles on charges of distributing “unreliable” information (Article 13.15 of Code of Administrative Offences). The fine was motivated by an article written by Novaya Gazeta describing living conditions in the Russian-occupied Ukrainian city of Kherson. The newsroom announced their intention to appeal the decision of the court.
