Arrest/detention/charges: Arrest/detention at protest/demonstration
At least six journalist and media workers were arrested before a protest was about to start in St. Petersburg. Among those arrested were Andrey Okun from Zaks.ru, Angelina Trofimenkova from Avtozak.Live, Anastasiya Romanova from MR7, Anastasiya Rogacheva. After them, correspondents from Novaya Gazeta and Sota Vision were also taken to the paddy wagon. All had been attending the event in a professional capacity to report and documents the protest.
