Liberty University in Virginia is pressing charges against Alec MacGillis, a reporter for ProPublica, and Julia Rendleman, a photographer for The New York Times, for allegedly entering the private campus in Lynchburg, Virginia. Both reported on the university allowing students to remain on campus, while all other universities have closed down to prevent spread of COVID-19 pandemic
